Metformin 500mg Tab Sandoz For Diabetics

I have not had sugar problem before. But this time the blood test showed 5.5 sugar level and 21 insulin level. As per my GP I am on sugar level is on border and there is nothing to worry but has prescribed metformin Sandoz 500mg. I want to know if I am diabetic.

As you stated, your GP said that you are borderline, so that would mean that you're not actually diabetic yet, but you are showing the signs that you could become fully diabetic if precautions aren't taken now.

Metformin is an oral antidiabetic medication and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain.
