I've been diabetic for years but here lately my hormones, hot flashes has been bad , I'm turning 52 now it seem as if I can't get my daily testing especially in the AM under control I'm on 5mg of Glibizide and 500mg 2x a day of metformin. Does hormones changing have anything to do with our diabetes testing numbers?

Yes, it may affect it, because insulin is actually a hormone.
However, you should have it checked out by your doctor, to be certain that there is nothing else going on.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of Metformin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence and hyperglycemia.
