I am 59 years old and have had type 2 diabetes for ~5 years. I've just relocated from Texas to California and am between doctors. I'm 5'5", weigh 260 lbs, and recently started to have extremely low (30) blood sugars at night. I've been taking 2 x 500 mg Metformin and 1 x 2 mg Glimepiride after breakfast and after dinner. What can/should I decrease?

What type of foods do you eat? Have you tried having a small snack, before bed?
Have you gotten into a new doctor, yet? That would be the best thing to do, rather than trying to adjust your medications on your own. You are diabetic, so you need to have things checked out by a doctor regularly.
Do you get a lot of exercise?
