Meloxicam Migrain Side Effects?
UpdatedJust started meloxicam for arthitis. Have history of cancer, crohns desease, fybromyalgia and side effects from steroids being migrains. My doctor felt this would be a good med for my arthitis. Has anyone had history of migrains with this. I had a migrain issue that lasted for 11 days can this be from this? It has been helping with inflamation. Which is a big plus. I'm hoping this is a fluke but i m nervous abut starting up on it again? I do have a history of migrains prior to this med. Just wondering if this trigerd it? What other side effect should I watch for?

Yes, given meloxicam 7.5mil back in June of 2009 when I had pain in the neck and had a headache. This week doctor gave me a 15mil for back pain not realizing it was meloxicam I had one of the worst migranes. And yes, I have a history of migranes. I'd rather not take the meloxicam than deal with the headaches.
MOBIC is okay what is the cause of the headaches possible stress and worry worry is Latin word means choke, the brain is painless it cover by membranes possible elevated blood pressure without you know cause this I know I am on the same but i monitor my blood pressure everywhere, under worry the systolic goes 146 the best is 110 no MOBIC does not cause this, subconsciously your mind is under anxiety, this is the cause, you may need some Xanax 1 mg twice a day avoid alcohol eat lots of salmon fish no meat, pinnaple, alkaline water, iodine sea wheet, two slice toast bread, avoid dairy, sugar etc etc Jung drink 8 to 9 glasses of water a day, flavix 75 May go in interval but no together, if stomach is upset use SOMAC no NEXIUM XANAX is the best fast medication for anxiety, I know this i have it, I remove my thyroid recently from cancer papillary carcinoma but I have a gene call HLAB27 positive ankylosing spondylitis EMBREL IS the BEST but lower the immune the cancer will spread, Celebrex and voltaren are more aggressively on the stomach, your body will tell you the progress ask for some XANAX 1 MG and try and see the anxiety will depart and the panic disorder
Unfortunately, many medications can cause the opposite of their intended effects as side effects. Many remedies used to treat headaches, could also cause them, according to FDA warnings, including Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, and Naproxen. Other side effects of Meloxicam may include nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding.
As to asking for Xanax, that is not advisable, since it is a controlled substance and many doctors will consider it drug seeking, if you ask for a specific medication, rather than let them make the decisions. Benzodiazepines are another class of medications that can sometimes cause the opposite of their intended effects, rather than calming someone, it may cause irritability, and nervousness.
Is there anything I can help with?
