Meloxicam Duration Of Treatment
UpdatedMy daughter was prescribed to take meloxicam for 1 month but after reading all the side effects I am afraid to make her take it for that long. What's the shortest possible time she can take it? Can she stop after 7 days?

This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, and the NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding.
Why was it prescribed for her? How old is she?
