Yes, you can take Meloxicam, as long as your doctor approves.
The FDA classifies it as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it is in the same class as the Ibuprofen, just more potent. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
