Medicine For Diabetic

I am 45 years old. My blood sugar level is FBS 163 & PPBS 239 and BP 130/70. I have been taking regularly "gliclazide 80 mg + Metformin 500 mg & amlodepine 5 mg + lisinopril 5 mg". My sugar level not coming to normal level inspite of taking these medicines reguarly. Please advise should I change or add more medicine to keep my Blood Ssurgar in normal level.

What types of foods do you eat?

Anything sweet, including fruits will elevated your blood sugar. Additionally, anything high in fat coats the cells, so they can't absorb sugar to burn for energy, which also causes blood sugar elevations. So, the best diet for a diabetic is one that's very low in sugar and fat.

Another question is: How much exercise do you get?

This is also another very important part of controlling your blood sugar.

You really can't solely rely on the medications to do everything.

And what has your doctor advised?

Will you please let me know what would be the best diet for a diabetic patient.
As far as what I eat, I take generally (BF - puri, idali, chapathi, etc. and in Lunch almost chaval (rice) and in dinner almost chapathi). FYI am having weight of about 87 kg. I generally take a evening walk. I want to reduce my weight also. What should I do?. Please advise.
