Hello, Duckie! How are you? I'm sorry about the way you're feeling.
This medication doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it does start to lose effectiveness, so it may not work as well as it did, when new.
It would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor to obtain a new supply, if needed.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of Hydroxyzine as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and sedation.
