Methylcobalamine is a form of Vitamin B12, used as a nutritional supplement.
That said, in the U.S. at least, since it is not a prescription drug, there is not really any spefic guidelines for its formulation and manufacturing process, though there are some recommended ones, but they are not required to be followed.
