Losartin Potassium

Problems with certain generics, took Teva brand for years, worked like a charm, they stopped making it, tried Solco brand and it gave me severe stomach pains, took namebrand and it gave me chest pain and palpitations anyone have similar experience? Wonder if I should try another brand of generic, not feeling well at all

Hello robin,

Both symptoms you described are associated with taking losartin and you should be communicating these symptoms with your doctor as they can be dangerous. Though each brand is required to have the same active ingredients in them the companies do have the ability to change their inactive ingredients which is what most people tend to have a problem with. I would discuss these symptoms with your doctor and then have them determine if you need to be tested for allergies with some of the different inactive ingredients between the Teva brand and the brands you are having problems with.
