Hello Ellen,

Sorry to hear you are having so many problems. Since the topic name asks what your medication is for I will do a quick run through of all the medications you listed first.

I can't find any drugs called lorstan, I don't want to assume but I believe you meant to say losartan which is a drug used to treat high blood pressure. Spironolactone and isosorbide mononitrate are also medications used to treat high blood pressure. Atrovastatin is taken to treat high cholestoral. The Asprin and acetaminophen are used to pain relief and fever reduction.

The only problems I was able to find with the drug interractions is that losartan, spironolactone and asprin all increase the levels of potassium in your body. In addition there is a warning that atrovastatin increases the potency of the spironolactone medication. The National Institute of Health warns that too much potassium in the human body can lead to the following adverse symptoms.

- tiredness or weakness
- a feeling of numbness or tingling
- nausea or vomiting
- trouble breathing
- chest pain
- palpitations or irregular heartbeats

They also warn that if you are experiencing chest pains as a result of too much potassium that this is potentially life threatening and you should see your doctor immediately.

I hope this information helps.
