Looking For Doctor To Prescribe Adderall Add And Ptsd In New Orleans

Just moved back to New Orleans. Have been on Adderall and Clonapin for 8 years recently got off and need to get back on. Have PTSD and ADD. What's a good doctor that will prescribe me this if I am legit and have paperwork? I don't need a hassle. I know what works for me. Thanks.

Due to the new regulations that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll need to see a specialist to have such medications prescribed, so in your case, that would most likely be a psychiatrist.

The FDA lists Adderall as being a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It carries the risk of being habit forming and typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, weight loss and insomnia.

Klonopin is listed as being a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Since these medications basically counteract each other, most doctors aren't going to want to prescribe both of them.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area that may help?
