My doctor moved. I need a doctor in Winsboro Texas who will prescribe my current meds.

I take medicines for anxiety chronic pain panic attacks and depression. Lexapro Xanax lamictol pramipexole and norco.

And yes, that does change things. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require controlled substances on a long-term ongoing basis, such as the Norco and Xanax, you'll need to see specialists now, to have them prescribed. A general practice physician won't be able to prescribe them for you.

This was done try to curb over prescribing and improper prescribing, since such medications are frequently abused and known to be habit forming.

Side effects may also include nausea, dizziness, irritability, headache and mood swings.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

Do you have a PCP that you were already seeing that might be able to refer you to someone?
