Looking For A Pain Clinic

Can anyone help me find a pain dr that will write me around 240 30s or 120 15s? I live in knoxville tn and i have all my mri and xray reports. I am in terrible pain. I have three bulging discs, ddd, bone spurs, arthropathy. The dr says my nerves are damaged from my spine or something like that. I just need a good pain dr and i am willing to pay cash but i do have medicare.

I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in so far as finding pain management doctors within your general area...

I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients, as some aren't, but most usually are. Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics).

I've been dealing with post-herpetic neuralgia for years... stinging, burning, aching, itching. I used lidoderm, lidocaine, patch after patch. Out of curiosity, I tried Salonpas lidocaine plus pain relieving liquid roll on... Try it. You may not regret it. It's available over the counter.
