Hi uzma,

From what I could gather, Vitamin C Serum can come in the form of many products... some of which use Asorbic acid as a source of Vitamin C. Limcee also contains Ascrobic Acid, so it is regarded as a Vitamin C tablet. However, this doesn't necessarily mean you can break the tablet up and use it to make skin serum. Many tablets have binders/fillers that you may not want to put on your skin anyways.

I think your best bet would probably be to find raw Vitamin C in it's purest and least processed form, from a reputable organic company. I personally like the one by Healthforce, who makes a 100% whole food vitamin C powder from acerola berry. It's a really fine non toxic powder with no asorbic acid either. This is great for those with bladder conditions, since asorbic acid makes your urine acidic. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking to make a quality serum for your skin.

Be sure to keep us posted on how it turns out!
