That is correct, the active ingredient is 400mgs of Etodolac, it is a generic for Lodine. NDC: 00228-2599



It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation.

This is a 400mg Lodine. It is a non-narcotic anti-inflammatory drug used for pain. It it like a prescription strength Aleve, IBProphen, Naproxen, etc. It is most commonly prescribed to patients with osteoarthritis, bone spurs, and people who have had orthopedic surgery. i.e. Back surgery, hip replacements, knee replacements, or any broken bones that have to be pinned and/or plated. It is an NSAID pain reliever, but again a non-narcotic anti-inflammatory drug. The grey coating is a time release coating, so therefore the pill should not be cut or crushed.
