Lamictin Side Effects

I have been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor 10 years ago, but experienced the related symptoms from 14 years ago. It is not operable due to it's location in the middle of the head slight above the ears and in the right hemisphere. My scans were discussed at international conferences and no one is exactly sure what to call my so-called tumor. I refused to take medicine up to date. However every time I see a Neurologist/ Neurosurgeon they are persistent that I should take epileptic medicine due to the irregular seizure I experience. Now I have agreed to take Lamictin under protest and I would like to know more about the side effects as I still believe I am better of without any medication.

The reason they want to take medication to prevent the seizures is because they can be dangerous, they may cause brain damage, you could fall and hurt yourself, hit your head on something… you get the idea, there can be various dangers associated with them, especially if you're driving.

Lamictin contains the active ingredient Lamotrigine and its side effects may include nausea, weight gain, mood changes and fatigue.
