What is your serum Creatin level?I am myself 76,under medication for hypertension as also diabetes type2.It is now more than one year that I have been taking Ketosteril which has brought my creatin levels into tolerable limits.

my mother is 69 years old, is it ok for her to take 2 tabs of ketostiril 600mgs 3 times a day? crea level is 182, she is hypertensive with a bp of 190/90 taking 3 kinds of drugs namely neobloc 100mgs, norvasc10mgs & aldomet 30mgs.

I am having Ketosteril 3 times a day for the last 5 months along with Iron and vitamin D supplement and also Esloric for Uric acid. Now my. Creatinine reduced to 1.58 which was 1.78 and eGFR 45% before it was 33%. Recently my whole body is itching severely for the last one month with rashes after itching. Please suggest whether it is for Ketosteril? Should I discontinue this medicine?
