Ketorolac Vs Tramadol For Surgical Procedures

Ketorolac is used for surgical procedures, whilst Tramadol is used 'before' surgical procedures and after the procedure's done the patient can still release a bowel movement for relief from the procedure itself...

That is not always the case.

The FDA classifies Ketorolac as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation.

However, Tramadol is classified as an opioid, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Additionally, which medication, if any, is required before or after surgery can depend on the required surgery, the person's tolerance, and the surgeon's preference.
