ketosteril was prescribed by my doctor in treatment of suspected kidney failure. The drug is very expensive here in the philippines, is there any substitute for Ketosteril 600 which is much cheaper?

Hi, my mom is also using ketosteril which i bought from Mercury drug. but its not expensive. If i remember it right its less than P10 each.

there is another brand out in the market, the brand is Aminoral, manufactured in Indonesia, it costs Php30 per tablet (in Mercury)

@ mr ketolog,
Ketolog seems to be okay, with its price lower and its effectiveness similar with the innovator, however, what i dislike about it is the after taste plus the smell, are there plans improving this?

Hi my mother is refusing her ketobest because its making her want to vomit? Is this a usual drug side-effect? Will an alternative such as Ketostiril or Ketolog be better? She has gallstones as well. Could this be causing the sensation or need to vomit? I am overseas and just trying to shed some light to loved ones taking care of mom. I would really appreciate your thougts.
