One reason why ketosteril or ketoanalogue is not readily available in the US because medical doctors specializing nephrologist preferred their patients with renal failure to go to dialysis rather than taking ketoanalogues to slow down the progression of renal failure because dialysis session in US is free.

Hi.I came from Fresenius Kabi before & I was marketing ketosteril before I got promoted as a Product Specialist.Now I owned my owned drug distribution company which still carries ketosteril because it was proven to be the only effective ketoanalogue in the market that slows down the progression of renal failure.Price was always the concerned of all patients including our target nephrologist doctor but there was no other choice.Time came Ketobest(by Goodfellow)came in & arrived here in the Philippines which is a cheaper one which can be sell at 29.16/tab compared to ketosteril 39.51/tab so my target nephrologist doctors made a trial to their patients & it had exactly the same therapeutic effect w/ the innovator without the after taste of the tablet which lowers down the creatinine level of patients thereby slows down the progression of the renal failure. Now all of my nephrologist doctors were dispensing "Ketobest".

Base on doctors feedback & patient compliance is that ketolog (1)has no clinical studies on the therapeutic effect of their ketoanalogues (2)has an "after taste" (3)even the color of the tablet try to see the difference & compare.This is base on the trials done to several patients & decided to prescribed ketobest as their choice.

i dont think so. product mo yan eh malamang yan ang sasabihin mo para mabili ang product mo.why dont you try it yourself before u judge.FYI a lot of NEPHRLOLOGIST were not satisfied on prescribing KETOBEST in their patients bec it has no clinical studies and was made in CHINA, base on physicians, those medicines that came from china were not that effective, ketobest were not launched in the market. for many physicians, KETOLOG became their first choice in prescribing because of its low cost and has same effect with the innovator.i have one client who is a doctor and he is also using ketolog. and so far he is satisfied with our brand KETOLOG.
