Janumet Vs Janumet Xr
UpdatedI am a type 2 diabetic, my doctor has prescribed 2.5mg of glimepiride, 300mg of Invokana and 50/1000 of Janumet, I was given a "free sample" of Janumet 50/1000 by the endocronolist I visted and he told me to take this XR at night, thus the regula Janumet 50/1000 on pill in am and Janumet XR 50/1000 in evening also one pill????

Have your blood sugar levels been out of control? Some people do require multiple medications with repeated dosing to get theirs under control.
Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, hypoglycemia, flatulence and stomach pain.
However, if you're unsure about how you should take it and if you should double up, please call the doctor to double check.
