Has anyone had the jadelle implant and had bad side effects? I got it done a weeks ago and have started light bleeding over the last few days and it wont go away as well as my skin breaking out.

Hey has any one ellse exsperienced problems with jadelle i had it put in 18 months ago my indomentri hadd gotten worse. I got pregnant 5 months ago on the jadelle and doctors would not take jadelle out i had lots of complications and lost baby 4 months ago...

Hi there, I have had the Jadelle implant in for about 6 months now. I'm getting it taken out today, ever since it went in iv'e been suffering so many side effects ..
Extreame stomach pain, weight gain, anxiety, nervousness,breakouts, depression, tiredness, random body aches. I now don't believe this should be available, this kind of drug is going to ruin the female body. I suggest getting it out,

I too have had the flutters, extreme appetite and weight gain, body aches, lazy and tired feeling and itchy tender breasts. I am getting it removed this week!!!

The only side effect I have had from jadelle is not going for my monthly period since insertion (December 2010) I have had headaches before insertion so the headaches I have here and there I just consider them as normal, I have had mood swings,acne,no libido before insertion of jadelle, so whether you have jadelle or not some of the side effects written by most of you one still experiences them. I chose jadelle because the loop, pills and depo made me bleed non stop, for me jadelle is number one. Just try other contraceptives and weigh which one is the best for you otherwise I believe all contraceptives have side effects just choose the one with less effects or else convince your partner to have vasectomy.

This is getting really scary. I got mine in two days ago and the first night I threw up like cracy, I also visited the convenience several times. Up till now I'm so bloated and having fluttering movement in my tummy all the time. I wish I had seen this before getting it in.

Hey ive had the jadelle in for almost 2 years now and just like you i gained 20kgs since being on the jadelle!! I am honestly so angry that i put on this much weight i wish i read all this before getting it done. I was just wondering since getting your jadelle removed have you gone back to your weight before jadelle? Im definitly getting mine removed!! I do hope i drop all this weight. Thanks

Hi, I have had this Jadelle for the past 6 months now and my experience is that during the first 2 months, i was just spotting but now the periods are prolonged from 4 days to 9 or so days. Iam tired of this. Will this stabilize or now its a way of life? Secondly, the way periods are coming like almost normal, wont I Conceive and have unexpected pregnancy? Please help?

Omg hi there same as me , but ive had it in for 7months and since then i have been bleeding every day like it will come for a week then stop for a day , please help me i think i should get it taken out pmo

i am finally having this terrible implant taken out tomorrow! worst depression ever, no libido , irritability on the highest level and the annoying irregular bleeding \ spotting for! the only thing is that i didnt had any weight gain. i had this for 6 months now and i am not gonna wait longer :)

Ive had mine out for about two weeks now and had a copper IUD put in. I feel so different already! Libido is back, skin clearing up, way less bloated feeling, a NORMAL period and just more positive in general. I know the Jadelle can work fab for some people but the best ting I did was get it taken out and I think anyone with bad symptoms should have it removed asap

I hav had it for two wiks now..i feel sam serious abdominal pain, have to urinate frequently, feeling nauseated.. had 2 pregnancy tests but both came out negative.. am thinking of having the iud removed. pliz help koz am so stressed out hear

Hi I'm 41 years old and I had jadelle for almost 4years and I just got this weird feelings same as yours.I've got lots of those symtoms same as you and others that I read.but I didn't come across with anyone has sore arm around where you got and its goes up to my shoulders so I'm waiting for my appointment to remove it.Do you think I make a right decision?

Hi ladies, im in Melbourne and desperately want to get my Jadelle out, depression/bleeding every week etc. but i can't find a doctor trained to remove it as they don't use Jadelles in Aus - no wonder why!! I had it inserted in NZ but dont have plans (or money) to get back home just to have it removed. Would appreciate any recommendations!! Cheers

Just an update since I had the Jadelle out - What a difference! No cramps, increased libido, no aches and pains, no tummy upsets (although this could also be due to getting a water filter). Feeling relieved and 100% better. Best decision I made to get it out.

Hi there I had my jadelle went to the doctors at keilor plaza medical they hacked at my arm leaving a big scar and did not remove it. Just had mine removed in nz was cheaper to fly home and get it done as I would of had to go to a radiologists and have it surgically removed
