Jadelle Contraception Side Effects (Page 11) (Top voted first)
UpdatedHas anyone had the jadelle implant and had bad side effects? I got it done a weeks ago and have started light bleeding over the last few days and it wont go away as well as my skin breaking out.
I had jadelle for the past six years without an period but I'm having irregular period and labour pains every morning. Continuous neusea and severe headache also I now have a bloating tummy. Is this all caused by jadelle...
hey i have had the jadelle inserted since september (so nearly 6 months now) and i have the worst anxiety ever. i have had to be put on medication for it. ive had a lot of panic attacks aswell. i also have felt nausea and i havent put on weight but ive been trying to lose and found it difficult. also find myself very hungry. my doctor saids its highly unlikely the anxiety is caused by the jadelle but i am sure it is. anyone had anxiety?
Yes I get really bad axiety and I have had it in since July 2012 and had never had anxiety before in my life so took me a while to realise what it was I thought I was going nuts.
These are not normal side effects for anyone, nausea, constant bleeding weight gain acne headaches, i thought they would go away or improve too, but they just got worse I'm healthy to, Jinai is one of the lucky ones, but don't write in this forum saying they are normal when the majority of us are really suffering. See my other to forums 122 & 132.
does it hurt when u got jadelle taken out i have heard so many horror stories about people getinh them taken out and i want to get myn out so would like to hear wat ur opinion is
I have
i have had the jadelle for 9mnths. periods are coming every month but it always last for 3weeks .is it normal
thanx that makes me feel bit better about getting myn out now, can't wait :)
Next month will be one year still I took the Jadelle and I hadn't seen my period for 9 months now. Sometimes I feel pregnant and I have mood string thats all. It has been good for me so far.
I've had the Jadelle in for about 8 months now and am starting to get fed up with constantly having my period. It'll stop for maybe 1-3 days and then it's back again. My skin has been breaking out too when I normally have pretty clear skin. I'm strongly contemplating getting it removed and looking at other options. I think women are enticed by the fact that it's inserted into your arm and you're 'safe' for 5 years without having to do anything else. I know I was. But the side effects are really becoming a drag.
You should write to the news if you feel that strongly! By the sounds of things you would have many supporters including me :)
Mayzmumma I have thought that many times but the constant bleeding means im clearly not. I am yet to get mine out as my doc is away but I will be taking photos of my belly and skin etc before I have it removed and then after a month or so after it is out just to compare differences. I feel this contraception is super dangerous and is probably alot to do with my PND :(
Hi,I've had jadelle for 10 years and removed it Feb 2012. I've been trying to get pregnant but not succeede. Anyone out there how long sholuld i try??
This is getting really scary. I got mine in two days ago and the first night I threw up like cracy, I also visited the convenience several times. Up till now I'm so bloated and having fluttering movement in my tummy all the time. I wish I had seen this before getting it in.
yeah, having the same symptoms. doctor say its normal. ave had mine for 11 months now. had scanty period for the first 2 months and since then nothinh
Omg hi there same as me , but ive had it in for 7months and since then i have been bleeding every day like it will come for a week then stop for a day , please help me i think i should get it taken out pmo
i am finally having this terrible implant taken out tomorrow! worst depression ever, no libido , irritability on the highest level and the annoying irregular bleeding \ spotting for! the only thing is that i didnt had any weight gain. i had this for 6 months now and i am not gonna wait longer :)
Ive had mine out for about two weeks now and had a copper IUD put in. I feel so different already! Libido is back, skin clearing up, way less bloated feeling, a NORMAL period and just more positive in general. I know the Jadelle can work fab for some people but the best ting I did was get it taken out and I think anyone with bad symptoms should have it removed asap
I hav had it for two wiks now..i feel sam serious abdominal pain, have to urinate frequently, feeling nauseated.. had 2 pregnancy tests but both came out negative.. am thinking of having the iud removed. pliz help koz am so stressed out hear
Hi ladies, im in Melbourne and desperately want to get my Jadelle out, depression/bleeding every week etc. but i can't find a doctor trained to remove it as they don't use Jadelles in Aus - no wonder why!! I had it inserted in NZ but dont have plans (or money) to get back home just to have it removed. Would appreciate any recommendations!! Cheers
