If you know someone who takes it... Get 1 8mg strip. Yes ONE! This is what I did! I made that strip last me 3 days while the w/d would've been heavy. BAM I'm clean. I'm better. No w/d no addiction. I don't want any more pain pills! Never again! I didn't go to a doctor. Luckily I know someone who is on and just as addicted to it as he was pills. But i didn't take it long enough to be addicted. THREE DAYS of minimal amounts of suboxone under the tongue and I'm healed! Saved my life! I was eating 15 hydro 10s a day AT THE LEAST. And now nothing at all! And I feel great. Except I have low energy... But hell... A red bull or two and that's no problem :) good luck to you!
Please someone from Wilcox PA area send me an answer , I don't have an e- mail address. This is my daughters eye phone. Just need someone around here to give me some advice. I've never had any friends n all my family has died in the past 10 yrs!:( please help
I used to live in Ridgway and now a days it is almost impossible to get on Subutex unless you are pregnant or have an allergy to the naloxone in the Suboxone...There are a few Dr.'s that will prescribe it still but not many...I heard there is a Dr. in Bradford but he has a long waiting list...There are so many people looking to abuse it so any Dr. that does prescribe it usually has a long waiting list...
In the States you don't seem to have a subutex issue, here if you've been an opiate an/user you may get suboxone but not subutex, initially I was on TeX. Then when ...one came up, we (drug users) were all put on suboxone instead, apparently people still use opiates successfully though not with suboxone only subutex..my pharmacy dispenses it still, but I can't access it...over there it seems to be OK...is it more expensive than suboxone over there? as I'm in Australia... hope my words can help at all.....
actually, it is the same here in the US as it seems to be Down Under...i have been taking suboxone since 2010 & got to a point where i was really struggling with the suboxone due to nausea that seemed to accompany my taking it - probably a good 3-4X a week, so it was taking a toll, especially working full time...that was the 1st i had heard of subutex & very quickly learned unless i was preggo or perhaps a hollywood debutante, i would not be trying subutex anytime soon...i hear many cry babies lie thru their teeth, going on & on about not being able to tolerate suboxone AT ALL, when it is just very apparent they have alterior motives for wanting subutex. i, personally, have had the same question for about 5 years now & still dying of curiosity for an answer! i havent asked in a while but will try again now...i have never had subutex. i've been taking suboxone 6 years now & haven't relapsed on full agonist opioids, so i guess that is some sort of testament to suboxone...is there anybody out there who was taking suboxone for a while, with success, and for whatever reason you tried subutex? what was/is the difference, if any, between the 2? thanks to anyone who can answer!
Sorry, this is late. The only difference between Suboxone and Subutex, is that Suboxone contains Naloxone which is supposed to keep people from taking them intravenously because it makes them throw up or feel sick. Suboxone is Buprenorphine also containing Naloxone. Subutex is Buprenorphine that DOES NOT contain Naloxone and I guess they assume that people will/ can administer it intravenously without getting sick. However, I saw an Intervention episode where this girl was addicted to inj'ing Suboxone (containing Naloxone) and she didn't appear to get sick from doing so. So, I don't know. I think the Naloxone was just added by the pharmaceutical companies to convince the FDA that it would be safe to prescribe on a wide scale without fear of overdoses. I'm on Suboxone myself and I have been for 6 years. It got me clean from opioids and I have my family and my life back because of it. It is expensive as heck and we are always poor because the meds and doctor visits cost me almost $900 a month in CASH, but for the most part aside from that, we are happy. I'm only putting this info here, because even though there are people out there who might try abusing both Suboxone and Subutex, there are so many of us who have never even tried to and we have our lives back, our children are happy and well taken care of, and we are productive members of society again thanks to this drug. It is truly a life-saver for entire families.
There's no difference really except you feel better than if you were taking strips.... they both have blocker in it just not as much as the strips I'm trying to get put back on it as we speak due to it didn't make me tired or have headaches or being nauseous it was the same thing except made me have energy
Re: BJRJ235 (# 4)
Unless you have cancer or liver issues you will not get subutex
I should've mentioned... I have 2 kids and a job and a family that knows NOTHING of my problem I had. Now I'm clean and I did it ALL ON MY OWN! No doc. I read ALL about suboxone, figured out how it works... Took it for three days... And woke up feeling NORMAL.
