Did you mean that you're feeling your heart beat, you're having palpitations? If so, that could actually be due to low blood pressure.
As listed by the FDA, Isosorbide is most commonly used to treat angina and yes, it can cause lowered blood pressure as a side effect, along with nausea, dizziness, headache and palpitations.
Are you having chest pain? This medication isn't for treating the palpitations.
