Is It Safe To Take Suboxone With Cephalexin (Top voted first)

I'm prescribed cephalexin for a UTI and want to start taking my suboxone strips to help with my H withdrawals. Is it safe to take the two together?

Hi Shamana,

Looking at umm.edu's drug interaction checker, I didn't see any discrepancies listed between Suboxone (buprenorphine + naloxone) and Cephalexin. So based off that information alone, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to take the two together, unless instructed otherwise by your doctor.

Also, as long as it was the same doctor who prescribed both meds, I think it's highly unlikely that he/she would give you two things that couldn't be used at the same time. Although it never hurts to double check just to be on the safe side!
