Is It Possible To Snort The New Op 80s? (Page 22) (Top voted first)

i have been prescribed to OC 80's for 6 years now for my debilitating pain. i started taking them intranasally about a year back when i learned that it works much faster and better. i'm currently up to 4 a 5 a day. yesterday i got my script filled to learn that they had come out w/a new generic replacement that has OP on the side that used to say OC. i've tried everything in my power and nothing seems to work. taking these pills orally does NOTHING for me except make me feel tired and sick to my stomach and i had to stay home from work today because of this. i know there has to be a way to take these new generic pills and separate the plastic from the oxycodone, but have yet to learn what that way is. {edited for safety}

Do you scrape the coating off of it before Step 1 in the microwave process? I'm prescribed to the new 20s but would prefer the old school pills.. man you dont know what youve got til its gone!!

If you want to get HIGH,Buy yourself some Good Weed,Not The S--t you buy on your street Corner,But Find a Reputable Dealer, & I assure you,You Will Feel A Lot Better,Without All The Bulls--t.All this s--t I read on hear every whichway,Trying to Break down the new Oxy OP. If people are talking about microwaving oxycodone pills..do you honestly think they are in the mind frame where they r guna read ur condescending post n think "u kno what! She's right! Its time to go thru the worst month of my life n withdraw because I'm so inspired by this speech!" Doubt it. Why would u waste ur time writing that ?? AND PS PEOPLE THE COATING IS ONLY FOR MARKING PURPOSES! THE COATING IS NOT THE TIME RELEASE!! It washes away in two second with spit! What u think ur stomach acid does to it! Seriously now u guys are making oxy addicts look like retards - all u who think they are the time release, its not enteric coating like darvocet, please be smarter people

We did it and worked. Our method is different.
Step 1. Grind into fine powder onto foil
Step 2: Put in oven at 400 degrees
Step 3: as soon as it turns yellow/brown pull it out. ~ 3min
Step 4: Place foil with brown powder directly into the freezer for a minute.
After that just scrap the brownish yellow remains onto a mirror and enjoy. Gives a nasty drip but it works great. Snorting the pill increases the bioavailability. So it's stronger than just swallowing the pill.

i just want to shed some light on this issue i have tried the microwave trick and no happy so by fluke my microwave exploded and i had gone through 3 of them so i gave up and tried {edited for safety reasons} this way really does work better than the microwave for one simple reason when you use a microwave there is no moisture for it to heat up in the oven it works 100% of the time good luck

i have avascular necrosis im 34 have already had 1 hip replaced need the other one done have been on oxy for yrs the op 80s suck they dont relieve pain as well as the original 80s and as far as using lemon juice to break them down didnt work 4 me too well ive just been breaking them up with a knife into pieces and swallowing 2-3 times as much as i would have eating the original 80s face it oxy sux now

You obviously don't know what you are talking about, just saying. Your only getting about 60% of the bioavailability when snorting. 100% when you swallow, that's common sense. I know I've done it.

Hey , don't listen to these goobers. It's your life , I understand where your coming from . My monkey's uncle told me that shaving the coating off with a razor leaving just the oxy , the taking needle nose pliers holding the oxy and grinding it on a ped egg UNTILL it's as fine powder as possible , then microwaving for 4.5 mins then placing in freezer for 5 mins then viola !
It's there to chase , or toot. My monkey's uncle would never in a million years would try to IV this stuff . Never have never will. But it works babe . My monkey's uncle is serious . He was skeptical and didn't want to waste anything . But for him and your monkeys uncles situation , They can't complain. Look up and read some old forums on here . Very helpful and was able to choose by process of elimination .

WOW- I can't beleive what Perdue Pharma has done to the lot of you. I have been on OC for about 4 years now due to a failed lumbar fusion. I have always taken oc in the conventional way and have adequate pain releif, I also get 15 mg Percs for breakthrough. It's actually pretty amusing, I'd love to be a fly on the walls of some of your humble abodes, must be like watching Reefer Madness hahaha. I'm with Jan, all of you give us who really do need the drug, and use it responsibly, are looked at as the stereotypical abuser. I like seeing these dealers get hit, it's a damn shame the price I've heard they charge for this stuff, friggin $1.00 a mg. Like someone else said, it;s time you people got a real job, see you in about 3 or 4 months in the workforce, after you all de-tox.

however, i do not condone the misuse of you medications. if u are prescribed these meds u can do what u wish, but for those illegally using, use your head. we dont need more gravestones!! the only reason i tried to alter is because they told me they were tamper proof when my doc told me about the switch. when someone says u cant do somthing, it makes me want to do it. anyways, use your head. safety first. :)

I am a terminal cancer patient and am on these new pills as well and even though taking them as prescribed does help I am with everyone else in wanting the relief or high as fast as possible. I have tried all the tricks there are and even though the microwave method is the most effective for getting the blasted pill to a snortable form, what is working for me as the fastest and longest lasting high is simply this; {edited for safety reasons}
Hope this works for some of you as well. Just be careful with what you are doing, life can be snatched away from you in the blink of an eye, believe me!!

Re: Oxy. Of all the ways to 'waste' time and ruin a good med!! And all to get high? This is the reason why those of us who actually NEED pain med are questioned and highly suspect when trying to obtain a pain prescription for the chronic high pain levels we endure just to have some semblance of a life! These sorts of 'habits' are why pharmaceutical companies must spend most of their resources to make a med that MUST be taken in the manner advised, instead of 'smashing it' with a hammer', 'snorting it', 'cooking it', and whatever other ways you can think of to a quick high. You are to be pitied, actually. Your energies could be much better used .... don't you think?

The new Oxycontin OP was made to help prevent abuse of the medication. Since it turns into a gummy goo, it retains its rime released properties.

It is, however, still supposed to work the same and have the same side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

no, im not posting a damn video. we figured it out ourselves, you can too. you have step by step intructions, what more could you possibly need? of course we messed up quite a few times, but thats natural when learning something new. the best way to know its ready is by tasting it. it has that strong ass yummy oxy taste and by the drip- if you get a drip its definately working. and the guy who said it hits harder when you eat it is a dummy. according to verwon, no matter how much you crush it up it will still retain its time release quality. and to missalli, i hope you have a few to play with because it takes a few mess-ups to get right.
