Is Hydrocodone An Anti-inflammatory Drug

I fell and hurt my knee. Now it is swollen. I believe it has fluid in it. Will a medication like hydrocodone help get the fluid out?

Not, it is an opiate narcotic that is used to treat or prevent pain. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Have you consulted your doctor? You may need an anti-inflammatory to reduce the swelling and help with the pain.
