Is Flexeril Ok To Take With A Low Heart Rate

my heart rate runs in the 40's, however it has been recorded as low as 38....and i'm not an athlete, just a regular 21 year old guy, decent shape(physically). My doc just prescribed Flexeril for some muscle spasms I recently had in my lower back. Being a muscle relaxer im afraid to take them, I don't want to fall asleep and not wake up!

Yeah, that's hard to say, since it can cause depression of the central nervous system, so there is a chance that it could cause it to drop even lower, according to the FDA.

Have they done any tests to see why your heart rate is so low? Is your blood pressure usually normal? Are you on any other medications? Do you exercise regularly? Do you take any supplements?
