Ip204 Just Started Last Night N Not Working

Just started taking this one last night well after almost 2 hours no relief I'm on verge of losing it. Why must they always change mfg.? I gave a written agreement w pain management n have over 11 messed up discs. Just want relief. Then when I go through the month 1 type doesn't work it kills my thoracic Injury. 6 mm extrusion. Plz what works? Been over 5 years. Just got ins. Again n all meds changed was on norco n had same issues that's why changed only take 3 a day. Just upped to 4 n now they're changing percocet.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with the IP 204 generic APAP/Oxycodone by Amneal Pharma. The main problem I see with generics is that they never seem to be consistent in the way that brand name meds are. From what I understand, the quality control just isn't there all the time.

As far as alternatives are concerned, I've been hearing a lot about Endo Pharmaceuticals producing one of the better versions of Percocet. However, the other issue I see is that every drug/brand/generic/manufacturer affects each individual differently. So going off the reviews of others can only help so much in comparison to your own personal experiences with different versions.

That said, I think the best thing you can do to avoid future discrepancies would be to ask your doctor to specify a particular manufacturer's tablet on your prescription (one that you've had prior success with). This way you can at least be sure you're only going to get something that has proven its effectiveness.

Does anyone else have some suggestions?

Tell your doctor. You might need to get on a nerve blocker like Gabapentine and well. And maybe even a muscle relaxer Zanaflex. Also pm put me on loan (oxymorphone) along with the 6 Norco daily, and Zanaflex. Tell your doctor and try something new. Call your doc and ask if u can take meds to pharmacy and your doc wrote a new script or add morphine and nerve blocker to it.
