I have social anxiety bad. My daughter passed away at the age of 7 from cancer. 3 months after that my second oldest got a hold of a handgun that my boyfriend left laying around and shot herself in the head. Then after that he told me he was going out of town for work for the weekend and never came back. I have social anxiety. I panic whenever I get around crowds of people because my husband kept me locked in the house for almost 2 years.

I got chronic p.t.s.d. and really bad anxiety most of the time I dont go no where and when I do i go where there is no one around. I worry all the time. I don't eat right i don't sleep much because of the worrying. My doctor won't give me any thing that helps. How can I get xanax Xr

I can't even think about being in your shoes I'm so sorry for your lost I have alot of nerve prob being alone most of the time husband works out of state I'm on 1 mg zanax 3 times a day I get mine from my obgyn doc he deleavered my children and had a historectmy at a young age best thing I've ever took good luck

You don't need xanax! That stuff will make you crazy. Their are so many anti anxiety drugs that will help that. I know, I take Zoloft and it's great. Stay away from drugs that can kill you

Benzos are very difficult to get off of. That being said, I believe they are safer and work much better than the long acting, everyday dosing of the 100s of anti depressants that give people other sicknesses, cause other mental illnesses and or are not as effective.
If you are taking Xanax every day, it will become a habit, very addictive. If taken only when necessary, they can be a game changer for the better.
I suppose that all psyc drugs have there downsides, I am currently working on staying off of them completely, and using natural remedies that actually work, such as cannabis, Kratom, and San Pedro cati. It's working well so far.

I have tried many, many so called natural things for anxiety. Herbs you must be very careful with. I almost died from one I was taking for anxiety and insomnia. Antidepresents are a Godsend, but you sometimes need to try a few different kinds, before you get one that works great! As well as sometimes another one needs to be taken with it. I have never heard of anyne having more problems with them. All benzos are bad news. You get addicted to them very fast. It's hard as hell getting off of them. I'm so glad I did, I feel like a human aain

I would highly recommend Xanax XR. I’ve taken it for years without problems. I’m really sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope you try this medication and feel better. Just remember that your doc should probably have you take your dose twice a day because it wears off after 11 hours. That’s what my doctor does.
