At that low of a dose, the withdrawal and rebound effects should be minimal, but much of it really depends on your body and how it reacts.
How long have you been down to this low of a dosage?
Have you consulted your doctor for assistance?
The rebound type effects usually involve pain that may be worse than the pain you were taking it to treat and the withdrawal effects can include nausea, dizziness and diarrhea.
I have taken oxycodone 20-30mgs daily for 3 months. I took 15 mgs for 3 days, I took 5 mgs this am. My question is I want to maintain the 5 mgs for 5-6 days and then come off. How bad will the withdrawals be
Looking for a dr. That will prescribe oxycodone 5mg. Or hydrocodone 10/325 54303,. I'm new here in the green bay area?and my back has been nothing but he'll for the last 5 years. I've been in two car accidents that through adrenalin, and the fact I didn't want an dui, that I wrecked my car but ran away with a few brusis and achy back, the second one my neck and back hurt but I didn't have insurance and I had pot in my system from a weekend prior. No insurance unfortunately until this last year, so I never got a chance to REALLY see any specialists. My old primary care dr. At the time gave me 7.5 hydro and referred me to Pain management, but I wasn't Insured, and I couldn't pay 400 a month to go to pt and pain management. I found my self in a tricky situation. My pelvic is about 1.5inch off center, my spine is kinda "twisting" as 3 other dr.s and chiropractic care providers have told me. I did lose weight "85lbs" and worked out and competed in muay thai, bjj, and mma. I also chipped my vertebrae playing football 10 years ago. But I kinda just fought through it all. And came to the realization that I wasn't sleeping and would have some horrendous nights or days at work. My problem lies is yes I am seeking relief, I had a tumor removed 5 months ago and they sent me home with 30 morphine 15s, 120 oxycodone and 30 valuim. Yea my knee hurt a bit but I say tremendous relieve when I was on those. I'm an anxiety bound man anyway and training was my way outlet.
I'm 27, hasn't seen a dr. In 6 years (aside of the tumor situation) due to not having insurance. I have tattoos a beard and that judgmental "look" that haunts me. Here are the things they override or care less about me. I work part time, volunteer for the Donald driver foundation (green bay packer) and attend college full time as a health and wellness major. I also lost 85 lbs, and quit smoking in on day and kept off the weight smoke free for 6 years. Oh. I also got Injured on an airborne jump as I was in the 82nd AA, airborne infantry unit. I did my training, boot, ait, jump school, and Bnoc schooling all at ft. Benning. Before I was assigned to the 82nd at Fayetteville. I dis owned the fact I was in the army since they breached contract with me because I was I jure to the point that I could not preform infantryman duties. So I had a choice breach contract or be a COs birch and do paperwork at intake. I chose to go home as a young and dumb 20 year old know it all. Anyways I just need help I seem to have bad luck with them. Either it's my appearance, or the fact that I've questioned a lot of thing, or possibly because I'm on state care. I really don't know. But I'm very polite and make sure that I do have access to medical libraries is known as well. I hope to one day have my doctorate as well, In nutritional dietetics. I'd really appreciate if anyone knows any dr.s in Wisconsin that are not too judgmental, not too inject crazy(reverse reactions to most steroidal shots, tramadol, antihistamines, anti psychotic meds), understands what I've been through and these problems built up over the years because I couldn't pay for dr.s visits without insurance. I mean I get looked at like I'm crazy because I'm like oh ya I got insurance, time to stop dwelling and get this stuff taken care of, no more pain, agony, or sleepless nights. But instead get brushed off as a nobody and drug seeker. I just don't get it. It's OK for people to be physically and mentally addicted to antidepressants such as zoloft, cymbalta, prozac for the rest of their lives. Go through with drawl and tapper regiments that are practically identical to everything. Just one is looked down upon vs the other. Why? Idk but if an antidepressant can cause the same dependency as controlled pain management I surely don't see an issue. My back, neck, legs all hurt and idk what to do. I think the exercise and competition really hurt me more and adrenalin just cover up the pain. Idk someone help.
I'm was taking 5 mg oxycodone every 4-6 hrs (20 mg in 24 hr) for 8 weeks after total knee replacement. I've tapered by decreasing 5 mg every 3 days. Tomorrow is my last 5 mg capsule, then no more. I've had anxiety, weakness, agitation and as of today, stomach cramps. How long do you think I'll have withdrawal symptoms, since I've already been experiencing them since I started my taper. Thank you. I'm a nervous wreck! Never experienced anything like this! 8 weeks on Oxycodone , even at a low dose is debilitating!
