yes all have been given by my doctor to me. it keeps my bp low. my bp was running at stroke levels. once was 220 over 140. everyone out of twelve is dead in their 40 and 50 in my family. its just me and my brother left.
Yes, there are always risks associated with using any drug, even legally prescribed ones, especially for long-term usage.
The biggest risks with most of the blood pressure medications is liver damage and kidney failure.

But did you actually have high blood pressure, or any other issues, when you started this many medications?
It would be very unusual for all of these to be prescribed just as preventatives, that usually only requires one or 2 medications.
My mother died of heart and respiratory failure at a very young age and I've already had congestive heart failure myself, at an even younger age, but I still only took that many medications when we needed to bring my blood pressure down. Once it was down and stable, we slowly cut out drugs, until I'm down to just 2, one for cardiac function and one for BP control.
When you take this many, there is also a risk of your blood pressure or heart rate going too low.
