Ibuprofen Transdermal Patch

My podiatrist gave me an ibuprofen transdermal patch four years ago. It was great. It was of course experimental, then. I would like to purchase this patch now for my ankle, but I do not know where to purchase it.

Unfortunately, at this time, it is not yet available. It is estimated to be on the market in about another year and a half, give or take.

The trial, however, did prove it to be very effective, since it delivers the Ibuprofen to the exact area of the body that it is needed and doesn't cause many side effects. The ones listed by the FDA, include skin irritation, redness and headache.

There are gels and creams available that contain Ibuprofen, you may be able to try one of them, if your doctor approves.

thank you. I came to the same conclusion that the patch may not be ready for 2 yrs over the counter. I tried to get iren, an ibuprofen cream on one website, but I could not order it.
