Ibuprofen Hydrocodon Acetaminophen

I have sever shoulder pain the er prescibed5-325 hydrocodon which did nothing for pain in my opinion I was prescribed by the nurse practicioner ibuprophen 800mg wondering if I can finish taking the hydrocodon with the 800mg ibuprophen the hydrocodon is every 6 hrs and every 8 hrs for ibuprophen would there be a problem taking them together at there proper times that is
