Ibudone 5 200mg
UpdatedI had coronary bypass surgery and mital valve repair on Dec 23 2014 and seem to de doing fine although my heart doc says my heart is now only operating at 40%-I also have a below knee amputation do to an anti personel mine explosion 1968 in Vietnam.
The question I have is I have been taking Hydroc/Apap 10-325mg once or twice a day for pain in the end of my stump when walking 3 to 5 days a week use to take a stronger pain med before the new law came out-I am almost out of meds an doctor said he could no longer prescribe this for me-My heart surgeron prescribed Ibudone 5-200mg after I left hospital for the pain in my leg which I still have but I have been hesitant to take because I read somewhere not to take before or after bypass sugery-is it safe to now take these for pain since it has been almost 4 months-I also take Asprin 81 mg-Aldactone 25mg-Atorvastatin calcium 20 mg-Clopidogrel Bisulfate 75 mg(heart doc said I could come of of this) Digoxin 0.125 mg-Furosemide 40 mg-lisinpril 20 mg one a day and Coreg6.25 mg twice a day-Do the Ibudone or the Hydroc/Apap have any dangerous interactions with these outer drugs? Thanks!!!--PS-If you have any other thoughts on the other drugs please feel free to comment.

Graham,
I'm terribly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing. I believe it takes a strong soul and a whole lot of courage to keep going after all you've been through. As far as drug interactions are concerned, umm.edu actually lists quite a few that you should definitely be aware of between the following drug combinations:
1) Aldactone (Spironolactone) + Lisinopril: may increase blood levels of potassium; shortness of breath, racing/pounding heart beat, fainting spells, shortness of breath
2) Aldactone (Spironolactone) + Digoxin: may increase blood levels of digoxin and as a result causing more side effects than usual; vomiting; shortness of breath, racing/pounding heart beat, fainting spells
3) Aspirin + Aldactone (Spironolactone): may prevent Aldactone from working correctly; increased blood levels of potassium, and possibly dangerous effects to your kidneys; unusual blood pressure, weakness, weight gain/swelling
4) Aspirin + Lisinopril: may cause blood pressure or kidney problems; dizziness, feeling faint, problems walking/thinking/or speaking.
5) Aspirin + Ibudone (Ibuprofen): may make the aspirin not work as well; breathing problems, chest pain/discomfort, headaches, redness and swelling of the legs, vision problems, numbness in the face/arms/legs
6) Aspirin + Furosemide: aspirin may prevent furosemide from working correctly as well as an increased risk of side effects; changes in blood pressure, extreme swelling, weight gain
7) Aspirin + Coreg (Carvedilol): may cause blood pressure problems; intense sweating, headaches, facial flushing
8) Aspirin + Clopidogrel Hydrogen Sulfate: may increase your risk of bleeding
9) Atorvastatin Calcium + Digoxin: may cause an increase in side effects; chest pain, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, weak, abnormal heart beats
10) Atorvastatin Calcium + Clopidogrel Hydrogen Sulfate: may cause clopidogrel to not work as well; chest pain, vision problems
11) Clopidogrel Hydrogen Sulfate + Ibudone (Ibuprofen): may increase your risk of bleeding; dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, blood in urine or stool, nose bleeds
12) Coreg (Carvedilol) + Digoxin: abnormal or slowed heartbeat, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, weakness, lightheaded, chest pain or discomfort
13) Digoxin + Furosemide: may cause increase blood levels of digoxin, resulting in more side effects; racing or pounding heartbeat, short of breath, vomiting, fainting spells, facial flushing
14) Furosemide + Lisinopril: may result in low blood pressure; weight gain; an overall increased risk of side effects

I'm not here to place any judgement on you or diagnosis on your situation, but that is in my opinion an alarming amount of drugs to be on all at once. There are 14 potentially dangerous interactions that seem like (from my outside perspective) may be having a negative impact on your heart function in general..would you agree? Or better yet, how are you feeling while taking these medications together?
I hope this information helps!
Thanks so much David for the info, I was kinda of the same opinion as to the amount since Some were prescribed by the cardiologist(Aldactone-Clopidogrel-Digoxin)the rest by family doctor, since the post I have gotten off the Clopidogrel about 2 weeks ago-the Aldactone as of yesterday due to higher than normal potassium level and also increase gloucose levels also my kidneys seem to be struggling blood test showed 1.49 up from .9-another blood test in one month to see if all is improved.Again thanks for asking how I feel-scale 0f 1 to 10 about a 7 mainly due to being tired most of the time and maybe a little depressed also.
