The maximum recommended dosage of Ibuprofen for adults is listed at 800mgs, to be taken four times daily. Given the increased risk of side effects, it probably would end up doing more harm than good if you were to take two of these.
One thing I would suggest trying as a form of adjunctive therapy is essential oils. Many of them are really great at relieving sore muscles and aches. I find combinations like Lavender and Peppermint oil to have excellent anti-inflammatory effects as well. You can probably find them online and at most natural food stores for around $10-20 bucks, depending on the purity of each oil.
Have you taken anything else besides Ibuprofen for pain?

Dear Redfire, I would not recommend taking more then one at a time. Taking one is like taking 4 Advil, so taking 2 is like taking 8 Advil. It could cause problems with you're stomach, not 2 mention dangerous effects.
