Hydroxyzine 25 Mg For Sleeping

hi, my doctor prescribed hydroxyzine 25 mg for sleeping. I stopped taking them for more than 4 months, now I have trouble sleeping and I was wondering if It would be dangerous to start takeing them again?

Iterex didnt work for me. Im still up of 25mg. :(

Sorry to hear about your troubles with sleep. In my honest opinion, it's probably not dangerous to start taking something that you were recently prescribed 4 months ago, if you're using it for the same indications as before. From what I could gather, Hydroxyzine is an antihistamine most commonly used to treat allergies, anxiety, and motion sickness. But it also has what appears to be an off-label use as an acute hypnotic, to help you fall asleep faster and promote a more restful sleep state.
