I have had idiopathic peripheral neuropathy bilaterally for years. About two years ago, for other reasons, my physician suggested that I take 25 mg of Hydrochlorot daily. My PN continues to get worse, and I recently discovered that there may be a link between taking Hydrochlorot and its possible cause or effect of Peripheral Neuropathy. Any comments would be appreciated.

Did you mean Hydrochlorothiazide? This is a diuretic that removes water from the body, so it could aggravate such conditions, if it's keeping you dehydrated.
How much liquid do you take in each day, not including anything caffeinated or alcoholic? Do you take any other medications?
