Dear Shannon, r u addicted 2 opiates or H? R u try ing 2 get off of methadone and switch 2 suboxone? If any of the above r true, then u would b a canadate 4 suboxone. U didn't make yourself very clear about the reason why. If u can explain more, I can answer better.

My brother is on Suboxone to get off of oxycontin. He thinks it's a great medication. He is out of pain and doesn't go through the rollercoaster ride of oxycontin. Oxy tends to not last that long and as soon as it starts to leave your body you go in to withdrawal, sweats, chills, pain etc. Suboxone doesn't do that to him. I don't think he has to worry about withdrawal because he has chronic pain so he'll always need something for it.
