How Trazodone Treats Anxiety

I want to know how well trazodone treats severe anxiety? I see that it treats mostly sleep disorders and depression but how does it treat anxiety if it's mostly for depression and sleep?

Most antidepressants can treat various mental health issues, as well as depression and insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, drowsiness, and weight changes.

Has it been prescribed for you? Are you on any other medications?
