If you're like me, the drug makes you drowsy, and you need to speak up and discuss this with your doctor and bring the dose down over the years. It's almost certain there is some substantial dose you need, say, to sleep well, but it's quite a powerful drug and the side effects can be debilitating. Every 25 or 50mg is quite a lot, and needs two weeks for you to observe and be comfortable with the changes. It's not like going off completely, and well worth trying to reduce.
