I gave all my drug history and wanted to get into a methadone clinic because i've been battling opiate addiction and they said the medical staff suggested that I go to a non opiate clinic and im pissed. How do I get accepted? They wont tell me why they denied me? Please help me, I really need this.

Hey Dandrea. The only reasons I could come up with for them to say you should try non-opiate clinics for help would be:
1.) You took a drug panel and during the U/A your levels of opiates weren't present or didn't match the dose you claimed you were using regularly.
2.) During some point in the conversation, the doctor decided your behavior, responses, and withdrawal symptoms did not warrant a script for hardcore opiates.
