How Many Days Does It Take To Get Off Suboxone

I'm going through it, 29yrs old. Tried it one time since 2011. I'm tired and want to do it. Thanks

It depends how much Suboxone you've been taking each day and how long you've been taking it.

Can you please post back with more details? Has your doctor given you a tapering schedule?

I just wanted to take a moment to say. I've been reading all this string of info and I keep going back to the same thought. I was prescribed Hydrocodone for Severe TMJ & TMD etc. In other words my jaw is really messed up. I won't bore you with all the details but then they put me on Suboxone? So, ALL this is concerning SUBOXONE. So anyway I'm just going to assume most of you at some point were addicted or dependent on Hydrocodone. I'm reading ALL this and listening to everyone coming off Suboxone say "Oh, I'm on my 7th or 14th day and I'm still not myself, still having stomach problems, still can't do much-but I'm getting there". Ok, now if you've ever gone through Hydrocodone withdrawals you feel like s*** for your 3 days and yes, it's HELL but by day 4-6 everything was completely back to normal except for your addiction of course! My point is, these New Drugs that "They" are giving us to "Help" us are actually WAY WORSE for you than the actual medication you were addicted or dependent on. Is it just ME WHO SEES THIS?

Its freaking sad. Like you I had an injury... I shattered my pelvis and broke my hip and got addicted to oxy. I was taking 4-5 30 mg oxys a day minimum and in July I switched to suboxone. The withdrawls from suboxone are waaaay worse. Im on day 4 now luckily kratom has worked wonders for me. I slept 8 hours last night and I am going to both my jobs today :)
