How Long Must I Use Persivate Ointment?

I have dark marks on my face and I once used it for only 2 weeks and my skin got lighter.the dark marks disappeared as time went.may I still use it again?

I am having terrible dark marks on my face and I tried almost everything. I am told to buy persivate ointment but when checking how ppl comment about it I become scared. I really need help cos it's frustrating me!
