Hi Alice,
I think you may be referring to Dilaudid. The name is often misunderstood because of how it's pronounced, but it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone; which is a pretty potent narcotic.
The average estimated time frame that Dilaudid can remain detectable in your urine is anywhere from 2 to 4 days.
I don't know what effect diabetes may be having on your metabolic process, however low hormone levels could also be playing a role in how long it takes your body to effectively eliminate certain substances.
