Suboxone/buphenprphone is not an opiate nor will it show up as one. It's chemical structure is entirely different and unless you're being specifically tested for Suboxone it's not gonna show. However, it has an EXTREMELY long half life and remains detecrltable in a urine dip test for 10-14 days and up to 30 at the lab.

sierraraynes (# 2) -- that's exactly what the dr told me today when I questioned him about drug tests ... I am in healthcare [ I will leave it at that] and he said MOST drug tests won't pick it up bc it's a special test needed. However unless specifically a violation of employer I would not say a thing about the sub unless it does show then as long as you have your rx in your name you should be fine. Subs have to specifically be tested for. It depends on what kind of test they use. Do they send it out or dip it?

Not true. I took 8 mgs on 6/13/2017. And another 8mgs on 6/14/2017. I drank lots of water. 2 to 3 liters a day for 8 days. My ua was clean on 6/22/2017.

Out of all these posts, u sound the most knowledgable.. I have a urine test in three days and took a tiny piece of tex....tiny. Not even a qt of a qt.. Do you think if i exercise..eat low fat and drink water i will be fine? Please get back to me...I'm shook up and didnt think they tested for it and I am not tryin to go back to prison..thank you.

Not true, physicians in my area do a to screen at any doctor app you have, that you think you'll be prescribed benzo, sleeping med, pain med, adderall, an sometimes for antidepressants. Employers of most chain stores send you to a lab and must be tested within hrs of them requesting a screen

I have the same problem. I run out and will use timy5ammounts if suboxone to get me through and usually stop a few days prior to my appointment. Last time it was only a day and it showed up. My Dr. Called me yesterday and gyestioned me. I played stupid like. I dont know why. I only take what you give me. I'm waiting for a call back to see if I'm kicked out of the program. I'm praying the don't demand me to come in asap for a test because I will be positive again. any idea how to get out of my system quicker? I go in 6 days for my reg appointment. If i can make it until than I should be ok I hope!
