It does not block those medications.

Suboxone contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the Naloxone only blocks the effects of other opiates to prevent their abuse, while someone is being treated with it and the Buprenorphine takes their place on the opiate receptors in the brain.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I took 2 8 mlg strips rhis morning I got months ago incase I ran out and I went to the doctor the other day and he prescribed me 16 mlg twice a day so that's why I took 2 8mlg strips but I feel like I have been in withdrawals which I didn't want all day with stomach pain and diarrhea...I'm wondering if he wrote to much cause like I said I never went and picked them up because I wanted to try the strips I had at home first and I feel like I'm dying can I take Narco to help me cause I need it bad

Actually the Bupe has a higher affinity to the opioid receptors than other opiates/opioids, AND also the naloxone. Being so it will displace any other opiates/ opioids. The naloxone was added as a deterrent by the drug company initially to get past the FDA approval and red tape. This is how misinformation gets out
