How Long Does Side Effects Go Away
UpdatedTaking Januvia for years. Developed severe itching my dermatologist said stop taking it. How long till itching stops.

If you were on it for that long, it may take a month or so, for the side effects to fully wear off and for your body to settle down and return to normal.
Since it is used to treat diabetes, have you replaced it with anything else? You can't just stop a medication like this, since you still need to control your blood sugar.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence and hypoglycemia.
